Preschool Information

Little Learners Preschool will be located in the home of Ms. Katie Smith in Dayton, Idaho.

Schedule

Classes will be held each Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9:30 to noon. School will start the first Tuesday of September and will conclude the end of May.  There will be a Fall break, a two week break each year at Christmas and Spring Break (the same time as West Side and Preston’s spring break). A detailed schedule will be sent to parents monthly. 

Class Size

Class size will be small. We will only enroll 8 to 10 students in the class. We want to make sure that your child is getting the attention and support they need.

There will only be one class offered this year.

Student Age & Requirements

We are accepting 3 and 4 years olds this year. Students will need to meet the requirements stated below.

Our curriculum is theme-based that helps preschoolers develop a base knowledge that will help them with comprehension levels in their future schooling and will do similar themes each year. This means if the student is planning to attend for two years, some of our themes will likely be a review the second year. If you are interested in enrolling a three year old, please let me know by completing the Pre-Registration form and indicating your specific interest, questions, or concerns. It is preferable that three years olds attending have turned three by at least May 31st.

All students that are enrolling in Little Learners Preschool need to be potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently.  

Price

Cost for the 2024-25 school year will be 9 equal payments of $70 dollars which can be paid monthly or by a semester. Payment secures your child’s spot in the preschool and is due whether your child is present or not. This includes sick time and vacation time. When you enroll your child you are enrolling them for an entire school year, not a month by month service. 

There will also be a required one-time $50 registration/supply fee. 

Cost for the 2025-26 school year will be 9 equal monthly payments of $75 dollars.
